Context: What is the Ads Reporting tool?
Ads Reporting is a tool advertisers use to analyze their advertising performance across Meta, which is then used to inform their advertising strategy. The tool itself consists of a customizable pivot table of data, called a report. It can be sorted and grouped for analyzing data, and it's the first thing advertisers see when they enter Ads Reporting.
My Contributions
My goal was to explore and recommend an improvement to a problem within the Ads Reporting tool that my team identified. I first documented workflows and feature gaps, uncovering new insights that ultimately changed the scope of the problem. I then carried out low to high fidelity explorations on Figma, and iterated after each stage based on weekly meetings with XFN, research, and existing design systems.
